Brief Answer:
The insuline dose should be increased:

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
As you know the corticosteroid shots increase the glucose level and thank insulin dose should be increased during this time.
As I can see the leve mir dose is ( 50 UI / day) and the dose of rapid insulin is low.
I would recommend to check the blood sugar fasting and after meals and increase the insuline doses according to the results.
If fasting glucose is high, levemir dose should be increased ( probably divided in two doses; morning and evening).
The rapid insulin dose will depend on postprandial glucose levels.
So, as long as you will be taking corticosteroids, you should be under close monitoring of blood sugars by a physician.
Do not hesitate to ask if you have further questions.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
