What Causes Elevated Calcium Levels And Low Vitamin D Levels?

High calcium level not due to high intake, needs to be investigated
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
If you have any results with you, please upload them for me to assess the extent of the abnormality and give opinion.
Low vitamin D levels are usually associated with normal or low calcium levels. The calcium level can be elevated if you have given the blood for test after taking calcium supplements or in a condition of increased parathyroid activity either primary or as a result of low vitamin D levels. High calcium level can occur in certain malignancies also.
So if the high calcium level is not due to increased calcium intake in the form of dairy products or supplements, it requires to be investigated.
