What Causes Elevated Lymphocyte Count In Blood?

Question: I always have a slightly elevated lymphocyte count. It's never within normal range. Sometimes elevated just a few points above the normal threshold and other times it's elevated by more than several hundred points over the norm. I'm always told it's nothing to be worried about and I'm probably getting over an infection. How is it possible to always be getting over an infection? My most recent blood work shows lymphocytes at 46, a point over norm and slightly low MCH and MCHC. Should I be concerned?
