What Causes Eosinophils To Be High In Blood?
Question: I went to an emergency room a few days ago because of high blood pressure. I had CABG two months ago. After EKG, blood tests etc. I was told I am fine and that all my blood work was fine, and adjusted my blood pressure med (metropolol to 50 mg a day). Today I got online access to my labs and saw eosophil count of 6 (marked H). I do remember telling the doctor that my nose was stuffy and that I had a bit of a sinus headache. I looked at my previous tests. It was 5 in 2009, but since then I had no abnormal results. I have made great progress from the surgery, but I am always very anxious about health issues. This is having a bit of an impact on my blood pressure today (it was great for the last several days). Do I have a reason to worry about the lab?
