Question: Had XXXXXXX constipated for a few days. night before last had several bouts of diarrhea . by the end had a little blood on paper. just went this morning. semi solid however blood mixed in with stool looks like hamburger meat.
Brief Answer:
Hemorrhoid possible, other reasons to be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
the most common explanation would be a hemorrhoid, which can cause bleedings through hard stool and switch of stools. But also other reasons like inflammations need to be ruled out. I would usually check for inflammation with blood work. Then i would do a clinical examination of abdomen and rectum. If the problem persists and this still not brings a conclusion i would discuss the possibility of an endoskopy.
Hope this is giving you a first orientation, best regards
