What Causes Equivocal Results With Pregnancy Test Kits?

Question: Yesterday morning I took a pregnancy test clear blue easy plus and it came back positive, i took to more after that in the afternoon and they were negative. Is there a such thing as a false positive?
Brief Answer:
After noon urine sample may show a negative result.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Early pregnancy test usually comes positive with an early morning sample of urine. In the afternoon the test may be negative. It is better to test again after a few days when the test will be strongly positive. The chances of having a false positive result are less than 3%.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
It will not affect pregnancy.

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If the implanon has already stopped working then it will not affect your ongoing pregnancy. Still it is better to get it removed.
