Brief Answer:
may be related to some foods

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The excess burping and uncomfortable feeling may be related to both reflux and also the use of foods that cause excess gas production.

Some example of these foods are: cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts, beans, cauliflower, prunes, peaches, turnips, carbonated sodas/drinks.
Fatty or spicy foods can cause reflux and may also cause a problem

It can also be related to lactose intolerance in some persons if you use milk or cheese that may have in lactose.

If you use a lot of the above, they could be contributing to your gas issues.

You should continue to use your medication but may also want to consider changing your diet if it contains a lot of any of the food mentioned.

Summary: (1) may be related to reflux so continue meds
(2)foods,, milk (if lactose milk used), may also contribute

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
metformin is most likely of those mentioned

Detailed Answer:
HI

Sorry about the late reply

Of all the drugs mentioned METFORMIN is the most likely to contribute to your symptoms.

Brilinat can cause nausea and diarrhea in some but is not associated with gas or bloating.

Aspirin can cause irritation of the stomach lining and can potentially cause bloating because of this.

Indigestion and stomach upset can occur with losartan but this occurs in only a very small number of persons using the medication

Carvedilol is not associated with gas or bloating

Atorvastatin - may cause increase flatulence (passing air), nausea is a small number

Furosemide- nausea, cramping, diarrhea but not bloating

Potassium-not a reported common side effect

Metformin can cause bloating and gas. It can also cause constipation or diarrhea, nausea.
