Brief Answer:
GERD

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on your description, you have GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux disease ). PPIs like esomeprazole can be advised initially. The dose can be increased to 40 MG twice. Pro kinetic medication like itopride or domeperidone can also be added to the regimen. Treatment should be continued for 3 weeks. Lifestyle changes including elevation of the head end of the bed, avoiding caffeine , regular exercise and avoiding night time meals at least 3 hours before going to bed should also be applied. If the symptoms persist or there is worsening gastritis episodes then an upper GI endoscopy should be considered in consultation with your doctor.

EXPLAINED

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

Omeprazole would be available OTC. You may ask for alternative pro kinetic if metoclopramide isn't available.

H2 blockers like ranitidine can be used as an alternative which is likely to be available OTC.
