Brief Answer:
Hyperhidrosis, need symptomatic Treatment and work up for cause

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Over Sweating also called Hyperhidrosis is either Primary ( Cause unknown) or secondary to some disease. Overactivity of the nervous system that causes sweating in excess causes this. Some commonest causes of this issue are

Anxiety and stress
Certain medications
Diabetes
Menopause hot flashes
Low blood sugar
Overactive thyroid gland
Some types of cancer
Heart attack
Nervous system disorders
Infectious disease

Your doctor may run some labs like thyroid hormones assay, glucose monitoring, iodine starch test, thermoregulatory sweat test and skin conductance etc.

Usually perspiration reducing medication like Drysol or Xerac AC are used mostly at night before bed time . Nerve block medications and antidepressants are also considered. Botox injections are also an option.

Newer advancements like iontophoresis ( an electric current therapy) also helps reduce the sweating.

Nutshell talk to your internist and let them decide what is best for you.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Regards
Khan
