What Causes Excessive Sweating, Violent Shaking, Weakness And Lightheadedness?
Question: In the ast few weeks I have had 2 episodes of sudden sweatiness (especially around Neck) shaking in hands, no weakness or lightheaded press. I am 63 male, non smoker. I take tramadol 37.5-325 1-2 times a day for arthritis. A olivine-Benz 2.5/10 each morning. Pravastatin 40 mgm at night. Any ideas?

Brief Answer:
Could be due to sudden drop in blood sugar levels.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
It is hard to comment defintively but a number of things are possible. I would need to ask you if you are diabetic. Sudden drop in blood sugar levels could precipitate such a presentation. It could also be due to a sudden fluctuation in blood pressure.
If it is not bothering you now, I would not insist you to worry about it. Remain observant and if it recurs, it would be a good idea to visit a doctor and to get yourself evaluated.
