What Causes Extreme Fatigue While Exercising When With A History Of Cervical Cancer?
Question: Have extreme fatigue when excercising eg swimming light weights which goes on for days have had chemo radiation four years ago for cervical cancer and now 49 yrs old. Also four years ago after cancer treatment had a PE. Also had dyspnea on exertions for a year after that. Vitamin D and rbc and wbc good.
Brief Answer:
Get your thyroid levels checked.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through the details and understand your concerns. I have doubts whether the cause of your fatigue is the chemotherapy that you took four years back. You should get a re-evaluation of your cancer to see if there has been a relapse. Other than that you should also get your thyroid profile checked as a low thyroid level can also be associated with increased fatigue.
You can revert back to me with the reports and I would try to help you further. The reports can be uploaded using the facility on the upper right of this page.

Dear Doctor there is no relapse of this cancer, have ongoing testing every six months and urinalysis. I also have thyroid checked, the last time was a week ago, and all is fine.
My muscles feel fatigued, and my breathing is not perfect.
Thankyou

Brief Answer:
Glad to know that the reports are fine.
Detailed Answer:
I am glad to know that. The problematic probabilities have already been ruled out. In that case we would have to consider it nothing but simply fatigue and you would have to stop worrying about it.
Stay relaxed. Things would be fine.

I am relaxed but don't want to put up with this forever, please follow through with physician as I am not convinced I just have fatigue.
When this effects your overall life ongoing then it becomes a burden. I am basically fed up not stressed.

Brief Answer:
Remain in periodic follow up with your physician.
Detailed Answer:
I understand your dismal situation. But we can assess the overall health only parametrically. That does not mean that all the parameters are covered. We do not always have explanations for everything. A keener look often reveals missed out facts. A periodic follow up with your physician should be helpful in this regard.
We have to deal with the problems as they come.
I would wish for your health to improve.
