Brief Answer:
could be gastritis or stone

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Your pain could be due to either gastritis or renal stones depending upon the exact site of pain.

I would suggest that you get an ultrasound of your abdomen to rule out the same. Till then you may try a course of a ppi tablet like pantaprazole or omeprazole and see the response over two days. If with the ppi your pain gets relieved, then you are having gastritis and then you need to continue the ppi for a couple of weeks.

If on usg, stone is detected then consult a urologist for its further management.

Hope I have been helpful.

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Verma
