Brief Answer:
Opening is always very sensitive. Show specialist if increased redness.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me advise you, normally the opening of penis is very sensitive.
But redness is different. It's suggestive of inflammatory reaction.
You should get a check-up by a doctor.
If you've had sex with several ladies, you should get blood sugar, VDRL, HbsAg, and
HIV tested.
You're welcome to send a photo with the reports, here, for an expert opinion.
Till you see an Urologist, you can use Neosporin ointment over that area.
Maintain good penile hygiene. Avoid moisture over the penis, especially the tip.
Wish you a speedy recovery.

Is it unusual for it to get increasinly sensitive occasionally? It only started yesterday. I havent had sex in about 2 weeks. Can it be from wiping the tip after i pee?
Brief Answer:
avoid wiping the tip.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
You're right, in that, at times it may feel more sensitive, as more of the tip may get exposed occasionally.
Wiping the tip frequently, can cause the change you mention.
Avoid doing that and see for your self, how much difference is there.
Wish you well.
