Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.
I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an Ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history. It is due to eye lid twitching. Most of the times it is benign and gets resolves by itself. If it is not resolving you need to rule out
1. Refractive errors
2. Allergic conditions of the eye.
As of now you can try cold compression and multivitamin supplementation. If it is not getting relieved consult your eye doctor to rule out the above mentioned conditions.
Hope this answer is helpful..

My son is 11 years old. His left eyelid has a very rapid constant tremor that never stops. It's not the eyeball, it's the eyelid. One eye. He has aspergers. He is on no meds. 21 months ago he was diagnosed with complex partial seizures, but the last 2 EEGs were normal, so now they think he never had seizures in the first place. Strange since he had 4 abnormal EEGs and was put on meds for a short time. He is nausious often. He vomits regularly. In the last 2 months, he has also developed a tic. Where his head tilts to the left very quickly. Sometimes it tics once, and sometimes over and over. He also does a clicking sound with his mouth mid-sentence every once in a while. All vitamin/mineral levels are normal. Negative for Lyme disease. Eye doctor says eye muscles are not restricted. I'm not sure what information is relevant, I just know that the eyelid should not be twitching nonstop for weeks at a time. Any ideas are appreciated and welcomed.
Brief Answer:
It can be because of tics.

Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.
Twitching because of eye problem will never be continuous and lasts longer. It usually comes and resolves by itself.Your eye doctor is correct and eyes will be normal in these cases.
Since he is having seizures and tics, the eyelid twitching can be a part of tics.
This requires evaluation by neurologist and physician.
Hence from my side I can side the problem in your son is not from eye but looks like from tics and other related problems.
However do not worry this is a treatable condition, this requires evaluation by a neurologist and treatment of the underlying cause.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
Thank you
