What Causes Facial Burning Sensation In A Hypertensive Person?

Question: My blood pressure reading is now 196 over 108 (I take blood pressure medicine). I haven't felt well for three days. Body feels fine but my face feels like it is burning. I work in Social Services at a nursing home (underpaid, too much work for the hours given), had a death of a close cousin this week and other stressors. What should I do?
Brief Answer:
see a doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
This is dangerously high blood pressure. See a doctor soon. If you cannot get in to see your doctor right away then you should go to urgent care and be seen.
Blood pressures this high put you at risk for heart attack and stroke.
Stress of course makes blood pressure higher.
Please also avoid salt, caffeine, nicotine and alcohol.
Do not put this off, you need to be seen today to prevent further damage to your body.
