Question: Dear Mr XXXXXXX
I am from Saudi Arabia, I would like to ask if you have a treatment for my father.
My father is 71 years old. He has diabetes and he had a bypass surgery to his heart before 4 years (2013). And total knee replacement last year.
After he had the bypass surgery he had some weakness , so he is always sitting on the chair almost more than 20 hours each day and if he walk he needs help and a walker or sometimes a wheelchair.
Before one year he had total knee replacement right side. After the operation he stay always on the chair and he is very lazy not only for walking , even moving his hand turn his neck he is lazy to move them. We also, took him to czech Republic for Physiotherapist , but he was lazy to do any thing and he did not improve and he always give excuse for not walking. he is getting worst. The doctor says the operation and his Muscles are ok.Also he is taking since 5 years lustral for depression. I went to the doctor this year and he said increase the dose but nothing has been change.
My question do you have an treatment or advice for my father , so he move his leg, hand neck and not to be lazy.
Note: All the operations were successful.

Brief Answer:
Provigil can be used
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
I read you query and understand your concerns.
Although there is definite treatment for laziness but I think provigil can be a right option for him.The medication contains modafinil which helps in improving motivation and energy level. The another option of similar profile is armodafinil.
If any of the two options not tried till date I will recommend use of provigil 100 mg in the morning.
I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.
