What Causes Feeling Of Constant Shaking, Neck Pain And Back Pain?

a Sleep EEG will help
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
Welcome to HCM
As i can understand from your complaints that your son feels like he is 'shaking' during sleep.
There are certain conditions like sleep seizures, restless leg syndrome, which can present in a manner mentioned here, however a detailed and elaborative description is required to have a clearer picture of the symptoms.
1) Wether whole body is shaking or any limb part?
2) does he only feel so or the shakes can be noticed by others too?
3) is he in control the shakes or the movements are not under his control?
4) Have you ever tried to wake him up during such episodes?
5) Does he have nightmares or bad dreams?
6) were there any incidents of bed wetting?
If a patient with complaints similar to that of you comes to my clinic i would advice him to get an Sleep EEG done to rule out sleep seizures.
I would request for the reports of blood investigations.
Information regarding the above question, plus sleep EEG investigation will certainly help to narrow in on any specific condition.
kindly reply..

Okay now he said it is like a tingle all over his body that comes and goes. Could a pinch nerve in his neck cause that? He has had neck pain
A sleep EEG will help to get a clearer picture
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the reply.
In any case an EEG sleep is the investigations to look forward to, as it can help us to rule out an imp condition of sleep seizures.
A a vague sense of restlessness, repeated urge to move body, sensations like as if some insect is moving on body, etc experience of such symptoms during sleep are more suggestive of restless leg syndrome.
Secondly, you don't need to be worried about the conditions like Parkinson's , multiple sclerosis, etc as they have altogether different presentation and are least likely from your complaints.
Neck pain again is unrelated to this and could be independent condition.
I would like to know if sweating, exercise, exposure to heat triggers such tingling.

a neurological opinion can help
Detailed Answer:
sure.
If the problem continues to trouble him severely. In that case it would be wiser on my part to advice you for a neurologist consultation at your local clinic, as there are certain signs that needs to be elicited by a doctor in personal especially in neurology.
However as I have have said before Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, XXXXXXX etc conditions are unlikely.
Hope to have satisfied your query.
welcome for futher suggestions.
