What Causes Feeling Of Heat On Left Side Of Face, Eye, Ear And Tongue?
Needs detailed work up and evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear.Thanks for your query.
Facial burning sensation or hotness is non-specific and does not pin point at one particular condition. Most importantly this is seen due to several reasons such as diabetes, neuropathy, sun burn, nerve damage or impending cerebrovascular disease and thus requires a detailed work up and evaluation.
Hence I would wish to know some basic information on this regards-
Do you have any numbness or tingling sensation in the affected area?
Are you a diabetic or hypertensive? If yes what is the recent blood sugar and blood pressure readings?
Are you currently on any medications?
Any significant medical or surgical illness in your past?
Can you please upload the medication/reports that have been advised by your physician?
Did the prescribed medication relieve your symptoms?
Await your reply soon.
Regards
Dr.Praveen

although I have attached prescription but I am
I am typing the name of medicine also.
Gaubolin
Oxetol
Infilact
Do MRI Brain as suggested.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again. Thanks for the quick revert.
The diagnosis as per your physician is Trigeminal Neuralgia which means that the abnormal sensation is due to stimulation of nerve which supplies that part of your face.
The prescribed medications are meant to treat the above condition. In case you have not been relieved of your symptoms completely then I were also suggest to do an MRI Brain to identify if your nerve(mentioned Vth) supplying the face is fine.
Additionally I were to ask for Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D screen just to make sure that this is not due to deficiency of these vitamins which are commonly encountered.
Hope this answers your query.
