What Causes Feeling Tiredness And Exhaustion After Lifting Arms?

Question: When I lift my arms or use my arms at about shoulder level I feel exhausted in no time at all. I feel a general tireness. I am exercising and do well until I use my arms in the exercise. What could this be? I am a 66 year old female.
Brief Answer:
Further tests are necessary...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If your feeling tiredness and exhaustion has been showed recently, further investigations are needed to determine the right cause:
- complete blood work to rule out anemia
- diabetes tests to exclude diabetes
- measuring the electrolytes levels to rule out dehydration
- urine analysis to evaluate your kidney function
- arthritis tests
Depending on the test results, specific treatment will be prescribed. Meanwhile, I advise to:
- keep on exercising without getting exhausted
- eat healthy
- take dietary supplements containing magnesium, and multivitamins for your age
- take more fluids (water)
Hope it helped! Let me know if you have further queries!
