What Causes Fever And Loose Stools After Receiving MMR Vaccination?

Question: Hi doctor, my 9 month's baby got mmr-1 vaccination yesterday.after that you at night he is having 102°c fever and today morning he is having Loose my motion.is it the reaction because of vaccine.pls suggest me what to do.

Fever and Mild rash can occur after MMR vaccination. Give paracetamol syrup for fever.

Loose stools is not due to vaccination, if loose stools persists then get her examined by a doctor.

Fever and rash are mild side effects and it's not a contraindication to second dose. No other side effects.

Second dose should be given if mild side effects are there because MMR prevents against measles, mumps and rubella disease.
