Is this allergies or what ?
Brief Answer:
an infection is more likely
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
the most likely cause is a mild upper respiratory tract infection. Clinical findings like enlarged and tender cervical lymph nodes, exudate on the tonsils, etc make an infection more likely. A history of allergies with similar reactions in the past may make the diagnosis of an allergic reaction more probable. There is no way to distinguish between them without clinical examination.
Your doctor is the best person to make this distinction. Do you have an allergic history? Did you come into contact with infected individuals?
Kind Regards!
