Question: Hello. My name is XXXX and I am 46 years married with 2 kids and very overweight. I am a business consultant with an extremely sedentary job. I used to be able to get up and go but for years it feels like a heavy cloud descended on me and i lost that get up and go. For the past 5 days i have been feeling feverish without a fever. I feel warm but my temperature does not reflect how I feel. Also I noticed for a very long time now that I get quite cold easily and people enter my office and say it's hot in here but it feels great to me, once I put on the air conditioners I get quite cold almost immediately. I have very achy body especially my knee and hip joints I walk down the stairs like a 70 year old .

Brief Answer:
You should do a check-up

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query.

I understand your concern and i will try to help you.
There are many reasons that can cause temperature intolerance like ;
anemia
hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism
female hormonal imbalances (perimenopause)
overweight

Hence you should go for a complete check -up like blood test, hormonal balance to determine the cause of your chills .

Ache of your knees and your hip joints are caused especially from overweight and sedentary job .

The best for you is to loss weight and have regular activity for about 30 minutes per day.

All the best
