What Causes Fluctuations In Sugar Levels When On Dimicron MR30?
Need a new test
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I have read your query
And I think I will be able to help you.
First and foremost, random blood sugar is not the ideal sugar to start and consider when starting a medicine for sugar. I therefore suggest testing a Fasting and PP blood sugar.
Also, I would like to know if you are on steroids, or any steroidal preparations.
I suggest that while you can get the tests done, restart tab Dimicron mr 30 since the sugars are high enough to need a medicine, and since you are used to the medicine- so there are no chances of reaction on it.
Of course the medicine may need to be modified according to FBS, PPBS.
I hope that the information helps you.
Please let us know the reports as soon as possible.
Please feel free to contact us for more information.
Best of luck

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the details.
By this information, I feel I can surely suggest that you need to have the medicines stepped up.
With duchess sugars, I usually suggest to start on insulin. I think it would be good to let your treating doctor know the chart and let them increase your medicines.
I could have done so but the medicines are available on prescription and so you need to meet your diabetic specialist.
I would add insulin or sitagliptin group of medicine for you.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
Best of luck.
Dr Mittal.
