* Blood for HbA1c, fasting blood sugar, post prandial blood sugar (on the same day, 2 hours after food)
* Blood for urea, creatinine
* Urine for microalbumin
Based on the above reports the treatment regimen can be modified suitably. However, you also need to see an endocrinologist (preferably with the reports) and remain under his follow up.
