Brief Answer:
This does not indicate the amount of fluid present.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I have gone through the report you have attached.
This is chest x ray report.
This can only identify the pleural effusion.
But it can not quantify the amount of fluid present.
For this, you need to get done ultrasound examination of chest.
This will tell exact amount of fluid present in the lungs and also tell about aspiration site.
So patient needs therapeutic pleural fluid aspiration and reports of fluid to identify the cause.
Possibility of tuberculosis is more.
Please let me know
1. Is patient having weight loss, decreased appetite?
2. Ultrasound examination done or not?
Please reply me answers of above asked 3. Does patient have tuberculosis in the past?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
