Question: I have been experiencing a sudden weird sensation in my thigh (right side only) The only way to describe it is by saying it feels like fluttering or tingling. The feeling is only there. I felt it for the first time a couple days ago and it literally stopped me in my tracks, I didnt know what it was.

Past history: 3x C-sections (Most recent in 2011), No menstrual cycle in a year

Brief Answer:
Could be a small pinched nerve in the thigh.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms.

These are suggestive of Meralgia paresthetica, a condition, which results due to compression of a small nerve in the thigh. The nerve supplies skin sensations over the thigh.

This is not a serious issue, and would resolve in a few days to few weeks.

As of now, if the symptoms are troublesome, you may take pregabalin capsules.

I hope it helps.

Best wishes,
