Brief Answer:
Your symptoms may be related to stomach acidity...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms may be related to Gastro esophageal reflux disease i.e. stomach acid reflux or GERD. Also other gastrointestinal problems (gallbladder, gastric ulcer) and pulmonary problems may be blamed for your symptoms.

If you were my patient apart from ECG, cardiac ECHO and heart monitoring; I would recommend an abdominal ultrasound, chest x ray and upper endoscopy to exclude pulmonary and gastrointestinal problems.

Meanwhile i suggest to use OTC antacids such as malox. This will be of help incase of gastric hyperacidity.

Wish you health!

What does an abdominal ultrasound show, and would they have done heart echo at the emergency room? I did have a chest X-ray at the emergency room. Thanks for your time. I am very scared.

Brief Answer:
Abdominal ultrasound exclude gallbladder stones.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Abdominal ultrasound exclude gallbladder stones, pancreatic and other gastrointestinal problems which may be the cause of your problems. Abdominal ultrasound is part of routine examinations and should be done before upper endoscopy.

My opinion is that Cardiac echo should be done also before cardiac monitoring. However this depend on the local hospital capacities to do so.

Wish you health!
