What Causes Foul Smelling Semen?

Question: Hi Doctor, I am 39 yrs old male. The smell of my semen is very foul. Smells like a foul fish. This has been very consistent throughout and doesn't change if I ejaculate frequently in 2-4 days or after long time. Please suggest what should I do? Consult doctor for any underlying infection or get semen analysis? Or take any medicines. Thanks.

First of all you should go for semen analysis as well as culture, urine routine-micro and complete blood count to check for infection.

- Since when problem is there?

- Is there any problem (burning or pain) while urinating?
