What Causes Frequent Chest Pains?

Face to Face disscussion with Dr. and EKG needed
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic!
I'm glad you are looking into your symptoms effectively.
Chest pain has many causes. From simple muscle pulls and pain, to heart issues.
Lets first rule out the big stuff and then focus on finding a cure after we rule them out.
To that end. I would strongly suggest that you see a physician and undergo an examination. That's the first best step. Afterwards.. I would strongly suggest an ECG.
If that is normal.. your pain can be effectively treated with simple pain killers like Brufen and Aspirin. These are 'Over The Counter' meds, so they are pretty safe. Just make sure you hydrate well.
Another issue is the smoking. No such thing as an occasional smoker unfortunately. Its a binary state. Even if it has nothing to do with the current symptoms.. It's still a good idea to start thinking of quitting. If you need more information on how to achieve that, let me know. We will make a plan.
I hope this is a useful plan for you.. in summary.. visit a doctor and get an EKG.
I look forward to your reply.
