Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings
As the total Leucocyte count is within normal limit there is no cause for concern. Children around age of 4 to 8 years have reversal of lymphocyte and neutrophil. They have more lymphocyte compared to neutrophils.
The most likely cause of recurrent loose motion could be infective etiology more likely protozoal infection like amoebiasis or giardiasis. There is increased CRP which is an cute phase protein which suggests infection, further collaborating the increased likelihood of infective cause. Rest other investigation are within normal limit.
I would suggest you the following
1. Stool examination: Stool for routine and microscopic examination and reducing substances.
2. Empirical treatment with Metronidazole will be beneficial
3. Ensure high fiber diet
4. Probiotics will be helpful
5. Include curd/yoghurt in the diet.
If tthe vomiting is non bilious no further evaluation is required.
Do get back to me for any further query.
