Brief Answer:
More information needed
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. I have a few bits of info I need from you then we can talk about what needs to be done next.
How long have these headaches been occurring? Have you had a fever with the headaches? Do you have a stuffy nose or anything like that associated with the headaches?
Can you describe the headaches for me a bit? Do they start in 1 spot on the head and spread? Do they get worse in bright light? Do medication help?
The more information you give me the more I will be able to help you
I look forward to your reply.

Hello Doctor,
I've had these headaches for the last one month. They generally start in the morning by 10:30-11 and persist all day. Initially, it's a dull headache between the upper part of my face to the top of the head. As it progresses, I start to feel the pain radiating to my right eye.
I have never had these headaches accompanied by any other symptoms. I sit in a brightly lit cubicle, but have always been sitting here for the last 3 years.
I have not tried medication since I do not like to self-medicate. I did have my eyes checked since I thought my contact lens had some role to play. I have been wearing contact lenses for about 13 years. The ophthalmologist said there was nothing wrong with my eyes.
My schedule:
My day begins at about 7 AM. I start with a cup of tea and eat breakfast by 8 AM. I'm in the office between 9:30 and 10:00 AM, and eat lunch at about 12:30 PM. I sometimes have a snack or fruit juice by 4 PM. If I skip any of these, my next snack is at about 8:30 PM when I get home. I generally have dinner by 10:00 PM, but end my day between 12:30 and 1:00 AM.

Brief Answer:
Sinus issues or Migraines.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Thanks for following up. From what you have described here, it sounds to me that you have a Sinus inflammation issue. It may be secondary to allergies or it may be secondary to an infection. That's most likely the issue. But since I am not able to examine you, I cannot rule out the possibility of Migraines either.
So what I propose is that we rule out the Sinusitis issues first and if that does not work then you must be treated for migraines.
In my practice, I normally give my patient a course of Levofloxacin 500mg by mouth twice a day for 7 days. That is coupled with a drug like Allegra (an antihistamine) to help dry out the sinuses if allergies are involved. The Allegra is to be taken for 2 weeks. After that, if you problems seem to have gone I would discontinue the the allegra and see how you feel.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask for more information and follow-up whenever you like. Do let me know how it goes with the medications.
