Brief Answer:
need to discuss with your doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX ,
As long as your mother takes frumil she will have increased frequency of urination. Nothing much can be done. In frumil 2 drugs are there. Both cause increased frequency of urination .
I suggest you to consult your doctor and discuss with him the benefit of continuing frumil against its side effect. Usually for low potassium frumil is not given. It is given in cardiac or renal diseases.
For low potassium either oral or in saline potassium may be given depending upon level.
Hope I have answered your query . If any further queries are there I would love to help.

Hi Doctor,
From last 4 days my mother has fever . We initially thought its a viral fever but today is the 4th day and still the temperature does not remain stagnant.
Initially she feels cold and than suddenly temperature increases. We went for Malaria test for twice but the report does not reflect any positive sign.
Would request you to let me know if we can give Malaria medicine even though the report does reflect the same.
Just to keep you informed that she is a heart patient.

Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sometimes even if malaria test comes negative and still patient have classical symptoms of malaria then malaria treatment is given. It is called clinical malaria. Clinical malaria means test are negative but symptoms suggest of malaria.
But this should be assessed by the physician and decision of starting anti malarial drugs is made.
Usually they will assess all other medical conditions and give malaria medications under supervision.
Hope I have answered your query . If any further queries are there I would love to help .

Brief Answer:
less chances
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The anti malarial drug to be used will be decided by doctor taking into consideration the prevalence of organism and symptoms of patients and other conditions.
Chloroquine is usually prescribed drug for clinical malaria. This is unlikely to react with your medications being taken for heart disease except ecosprin.
There may be some interaction between ecosprin and chloroquine. Less chances. No serious consequences , there may be reduced drug absorption and action. The treating physician weighs the benefit of using chloroquine over its interaction.
