What Causes Frequent Urination After Intercourse?

This has been going on for about 6 years now.
Better hygiene post ejaculation should help
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Ejaculation can lead to an increased vulnerability to develop urinary tract infections or even result in a change in the acidity of your urine.
In such situations my advise would be the following:
+Make sure you clean your genitals adequately after ejaculation/masturbation/urination/or sexual intercourse
+Make sure you drink plenty of water (at least 3 litres of water per day)
+Make sure you shower regularly
+Change your inner wear after ejaculation/masturbation if they have been soiled
If at all the same thing repeats despite taking the above mentioned measures then you can also choose to drink cranberry juice as tolerated and also get a urine routine examination done and write back to me with the reports. But in majority of the cases, just improving hygiene does the job.
I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.

My sincere apologies for my poor selection of words
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
My sincere apologies if you think I offended you in anyway possible. But the truth is that the most common cause for urinary tract infections in younger males is the habit of not washing post-ejaculation, and this was not in anyway directed to you personally or to offend you.
If hygiene is not a cause for concern in your case then further investigation of your urine and prostate will have to take place, which should help provide us with some answers.
You are a 47 year old male, nearing your 50s, which is the age around and after which prostate related issues begin, and so checking on your prostate shall not be fruitless. Post ejaculation your prostate can swell up a little causing a sensation/need to pass urine more often than usual. A urine sample shall also help rule out other possibilities.
I would also like to mention that stones in the renal tract can also cause a similar presentation to yours, but will have nothing to do with ejaculation, which is why I am not considering it.
So, visiting a medical centre to get your urine and prostate checked would help tremendously. Please also write back to me if you experience any change in the flow of your urine, poor or changed stream, dribbling of urine, etc, and such symptoms which have developed over the years.
Once again, my sincere apologies and best wishes sir.
