Brief Answer:
Basic cause for the symptoms has to be treated
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for query
Based on the facts that you have posted The basic cause for her symptoms is senile narrowing of urethra ( Urethal Stenosis) resulting into incomplete emptying of bladder which leads to significant amount of urine to remain in bladder what is called as Post void Residual Urine (PVR)This PVR is the prime source of infection giving rise to these symptoms.
Consult qualified Urologist for endoscopic assessment and calibration (Dilatation) of urethra.
This will prevent repeated infection
Continue talking antibiotic prescribed
