What Causes Frequent Urination And Urge To Urinate?

Question: Next day after receiving your reply regarding the reason for frequent urination I start having fever i the evening. I did not take my temperature, but I was shivering.However no pain during urination. I took Cefexine and Nitrofurantoin for 6 days. 2nd day I did the urine test, it was clear. I did not notice any improvement after treatment.
Yesterday I went to the doctor did the blood and urine test and an abdominal scan . Everything is fine except an 18mm stone in my GALL-bladder .
Since 1 week I am feeling better , I do not urinate so often . I am taking almost daily hot baths with salt and I take a Voltaren (75mg) due to same pain in my joints. Somehow this helps .
My question remains: what is the reason for frequent urination?

Likely to be due to Over Active Bladder Syndrome.

Increased frequency and urgency are likely to be due to Over Active Bladder syndrome This can be confirmed by doing Urodynaemic study of bladder,.

Please take anti muscuranic drug like Darifenacin once daily .

Please get prescription from your family physician.

Darifenacin is not available in Middle East. Actually in pharmacies in Dubai they do not have drugs for overactive bladder.

Any herbal remedies that can help ? Do Koegel exercises help? Any special diet requirements.

Kegel Exercise do help to reduce symptoms of OAB.

There is no role of diet in management of OAB.
