What Causes Frequent Urination Post Intercourse?

Question: I had protected sex on Monday evening with someone other than my wife.
Tuesday morning i felt the urge to urinate often. There is no burning or discharge, and although the urge has diminished slightly, 7 days later i still have the urge to urinate frequently... it is always on my mind.
No pain, swelling, bumps, redness or discharge, just want to pee all the time.
std or anxiety?
thank you.

Brief Answer:
could be either
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for the question.
It could be anxiety but I really think you need to be tested to rule out sexually transmitted infection. Chlamydia which is the most common STI can cause the symptoms you have. Also bladder infection can cause that type of symptom. It may just be anxiety but it is definitely best to get it checked out.
