What Causes Frequent Urination?
Question: I am urinating frequently and it doesn't hurt but I do get a funny feeling at the end.

I have read your query carefully. Though there are no associated conditions / symptoms & detailed history as to duration of the problem, I would try to evaluate it as far as possible.
Frequency of urination can be from various causes ranging from Psychological stress,to vaginal irritation/bladder irritation , inflammation or infection. Do you have diabetes ? even diabetes presents with such symptoms.
AS you do not complain of any burning/ blood in urination . there seems to be no infection / just beginning of infection.
The funny feel at the end of urination may be due to urethritis.. local irritation/ infection of urethral opening. ( may be carried from vaginal infection( bacterial or fungal ). If you mean a tingling sensation by funny feel... this can be
diabetic neuropathy or some spinal involvement in nerves suplying the bladder/ urethra.
* IN short, you should get in contact with your family physician .. for primary evaluation of the problem ( by physical examination / investigations - urine test/ blood test for diabetes/vaginal swab test/ X ray spine/ bladder as per need. ) .. to come to diagnosis
He may there after offer you treatment ( antibiotic, anti fungal pills , anti inflammatory pills & alkaline syrup, bladder pain medicine .. as per need.)
He may refer you to kidney specialist/ Diabetologist/ Gynecologist for expert advise & treatment
Self care-
- Be particular about genital hygiene.
- Keep the area clean with clean water.. need not use hot water, anti septic liquids. Even Barley water would be helping.
- Avoid itching the part. If itching.. you can use Candid cream mixed with betnovate cream .
- drink lot of water/ fruit juices. Avoid spicy food.
I know with specific treatment offered by your doctor & self care you would be out of the trouble soon.
