Very often there can be mild infection and collection in the sinuses. This can present as frontal headache. The other possibility is that of a low grade trauma to the head sustained during soccer practice. This can manifest as a mild form of head injury which might have gone unnoticed.
The above are possibilities and after clinical evaluation a different condition may also be found.
It is important that your daughter gets clinically examined and her condition gets confirmed. Imaging investigations might be needed after clinical examination.
