I had sexual exposure on 28 july 2013 with prostitute.
I was diagnosed with pulmonary tb on january2014.
currently taking r-cinex 600 and combutol 1000.
stopped pza ciba 1500.

i have
fungul infection in groin
whitish tongue.
pins and needle in hands and toes , numbeness
direhia intermittent.
lot of pimples

hiv tests i have taken so far:
january2014- elisa- negative
february2014- tridot - negative
february2014- RNA viral load - below detection limit (<50)
march2014- Vidas duo ultra - negative
march2014-v.d.r.l , hbsAg, Hcv Ab - all negative.
april2014- proviral DNA PCR -negative
may2014-tirdot-negative , thyroid tsh -5.61

which test should i take further?
can symptoms be due to Tb medication?

Welcome back,

If a person had a sexual intercourse with un confirmed status of partner.. that too unprotected intercourse the HIV antobodies appear in blood circulation with 4-6months. You are negative with results all the time . so i dont suspect the possibility of any contamination.

Your symptoms for sure is due to ATT therapy.
Make sure that you should add Pyridoxine vitamin pills to your ATT therapy , this is will decrease your pins and needle sensations.
Fungal infection in the groin can be treated with anti -fungal creams like Terbinefine and Miconozole.

Any how discuss your problem with your treating physician about modifications in your prescription.

Thanks for your reply doctor.
also i forgot mention about having tremors. is this also due to medication? which of the two(rcinex/combutol )is causing symptoms?
currently i am taking 1 bplex-forte tablet daily. i read it has 3mg pyridoxin.
is this dose enough?
doctor said i have to med till dec 2014. any other thing i should take to reduce side effect?
also i am doing test at srl labs. is this good laboratory?

pyridoxin 40mg is the ideal dose

Tremors are not the part of side effects by ATT. But may be due to your decreased energy store. As you are on polymedications you should take good balanced diet.

coming to pyridoxin dose, in my clinical practice i recommend 40mg dose to my patients , its avaialable as Benadon in the market. Mean while you can continue taking beplex forte also.

Tingling and numbness due to ATT drugs - Isoniazid and rifampicin.

Srl is good reputed lab and results are also accurate.
