What Causes Gas Formation After Eating Food?

Question: I develop a lot of gas after eating sometimes. I'm not allergic to anything except crab according to my food allergy test. the occurrence of gas seems very random. I have no idea how to combat it. I'd prefer to fix the cause rather than suppress the symptom. But can you also prescribe a good medicine to control it after it develops. I don't want to keep taking preventive pills.
Brief Answer:
Advised Omeprazole
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX,
I would suggest you Omeprazole 30 minutes before breakfast with empty stomach for 6 weeks. You should take it regularly.
Probiotics and yogurt will help you. Drink butter milk daily.
Avoid food 2 hours before going bed.
Eat small amount of meals 4 times a day.
Avoid spicy, oily, fast food.
Drink Plenty of water. Do not skip meals, empty stomach produces more gas.
If you smoke, avoid it completely.
Avoid alcohol if you consume.
Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables like salads.
Avoid hot beverages like tea and coffee.
You can continue digene.
If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.

Can you also recommend some scans or tests for a weak digestive system? My stomach gets upset so often, I'm used to it by now. I want to find the cause. My mum thinks it's worms :)
Brief Answer:
Endoscopy
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX,
I can understand your concern.
Your symptoms mostly look like gastro esophageal reflux not due to worms.
I suggest you start medication and follow aforementioned suggestions, if you will not see better results after one week then I suggest you consult a Gastro enterologist. Doctor may advice for Upper gastro endoscopy to rule out gastritis or any erosions or ulcers in stomach and to rule out Helicobacter pylori infection.
If you feel better with medication then you can continue it for 6 weeks.
However for worms I suggest you albendazole 400mg one dose.
If you have any quereis I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
