What Causes Green Colored Stools?

Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Stool has its color due to bile secretion to the duodenum. This bile which is yellow gets digested by intestinal bacteria to brown stercobilinogen. Now when the stool passage is accelerated or there is no sufficient amount of intestinal bacteria stool can have other than brown colon (green for example).
If you have no diarrhea, most likely you have some kind of gastrointestinal infection. That is why I suggest you to start with probiotic intake and see if this will help. If not, stool test and stool culture test should be done as a next step.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
