What Causes Green Colored Stools?

Question: Hi, this morning went to rest room and noticed my stool was green, should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Non specific Symptom, not to be concerned
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
Passing green coloured stools without any symptoms like pain abdomen or loose stools is non specific and does not call for concern . The most common reasons for green stools are bile which is secreted by the liver in response to food and second most common reason being the food that you eat for example green leafy veggies or green coloured substances.
I recommend that you wait for 2 days, if the green stool continues then get a stool routine done
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
I wish you good health
Regards
