What Causes Green Visible Veins All Over Body?
Question: Hi
I have green veins showing all over my body including the corner of my mouth down my jaw. I am not fair skin, I am Mediterranean. Had my second baby in feb 2015. No,problems like this with my first. These veins have become prominent after delivery.. I am also seeing a few broken spider veins on my legs and face... What can this be it's really starting to affect my confidence, seeing these veins everywhere... Not sure if it's too do with iron.. And if it's hormone related will these go or do I need to do something for them to go...

Brief Answer:
The picture seems normal with slight skin stretch
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Pregnancy has a lot to do with hormones, so is lactation. As soon as the pregnancy ends there is heavy imbalance in the hormones, some grow and some become so little to be undetectable. Because of these the physical charecters can change, so is the skin. The skin can stretch during the pregnancy and during lactation.
The pigmentation it wears can fade away and the underlying veins can appear more prominently. I suggest you not to worry about these now.
Wait for at least 6 months i.e two more months from now. You do not need to act on these now.

So you think it has anything to do with anemia?!
Brief Answer:
Anemia is not the reason
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have no experience with caucasians clinically diagnosing anemia. However your thing should not be related to anemia. If you doubt you should get the basic blood test like Hb%, MCV and HCT.
