What Causes Greenish Discharge From Penis?
Question: Went to doctors last week due to discharge from Penis. Went to semi clear a few days ago to this morning I woke up to a greenish white thicker discharge. Doctors last week gave me Rocephin 250mg 1gram of zithromax. Also 2 grams of Metronizadole. They said it covered Gonnorhea chlamydia and Trich. Should I go back for another round plus doxycycline and a zpak?

Well they didn't give me any meds to go home with in which in the past they usually give me a zpak or doxy. This time all they gave me was in the doctors office only. Everything came back negative but they only did a pee test. No swab.
Brief Answer:
Wait another 4-5 days for the symptoms to subside
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
Thank you so much for that information.
In my opinion the greenish discharge indicates a possible gonorrhoea infection. Gonorrhoea can be treated with a single dose of medications or multiple doses.
Your doctor seems to have administered a single dose (any of the following gatifloxacin, ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, azithromycin, etc.) after which a duration of 10-14 days may be required for complete recovery. During this period complete abstinence of sexual contact and/or masturbation may be required. Also, please maintain good personal hygiene and keep the region dry and clean.
In my opinion it has been only a week or so since treatment was initiated, so it would be best to wait a while longer. You need not revisit your doctors office at this point, but if at all the symptoms do not subside in another 4-5 days then you will have to make that visit.
I hope and pray you experience complete recovery in the next few days and do not have to go in for another round of medications, but even if you do, please do not think anything of it. Heres hoping you enjoy good XXXXXXX always thereafter. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.

I'm getting that urge to pee every say hour plus the other day it was clear discharge and now it's whitish green but gonorrhea and chlamydia came back negative on the pee test. I'm confused .
Brief Answer:
You seem to still have remnants of the infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
My sincere apologies for the delayed response. Yes sir, the following are all the common symptoms of all sexually transmitted infections and a urinary tract infection (UTI) that is a simple infection:
+Frequent urination
+Urge to urinate frequently but less amount of urine or no urine passed
+Burning sensation while urinating
+Penile discharge (not always)
+Fever
+Itching around genitalia
+Chills
and a a few other symptoms.
This means that you still have symptoms of the infection, and it means it is still present. Although we cannot be sure whether this is still gonorrhoea, other than the fact that you had green discharge. Do not worry sir, wait for another 4 days and if the symptoms are still present then please re-visit your doctor.
In the meantime, please follow these suggestions:
+Drink plenty of water
+Drink cranberry juice as tolerated
+Drink water with a tablespoon of baking soda mixed in it
+Keep your genitalia clean and dry
+Frequently change your inner wear
+Avoid masturbation and all forms of sexual contact until your doctor or I say it is safe to go ahead with sexual intercourse or masturbation again
I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.
Best wishes.
