What Causes Growing Indentation On The Crown Of The Head?

Osteolytic skull lesion and osteoporosis should be considered.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
You mean indentation on the crown of the head, right?
One of the most probable causes of skull indentation is head trauma, so if you had several years back any head trauma, this may be the initial cause.
Other possibilities include previously non fused skull bones if the indentation is right in the middle.
Bone resorption ( osteoporosis ) may be responsible also for the indentation and its progression, but other rare conditions such osteolytic skull lesions (myeloma multiple for example) should be considered too.
There is need for diagnostic tests such skull x-rays, bone densiometry, thyroid and parathyroid function evaluation, in order to achieve a correct diagnosis of your condition.
I suggest you to discus with your primary care Doctor who can order above mentioned tests to have a correct diagnosis.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Greetings.
