What Causes Growth At The Tip Of Uvula?
Question: My wife is going to the ENT doctor and she thinks there is some type of growth at the tip of the uvula. What might this be? XXXXXXX XXXX

In most cases we see benign processes such as oedema, papilloma, polyp or throat inflammation. In some cases there are hypetrophic changes in uvula caused by smoking or alcohol drinking. So you should not expect something serious, but of course ENT examnation must be done and doctor will decied if excision and hystologic analysis is required depending on size and look of this lesion.
