What can this be and should I be worried?
Brief Answer:
Likely nutritional. Needs work up
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Hand numbness at night can be correlated to poor posture of sleep. In women , nutritional neuropathies, vitamin B 12 deficiency and alcohol use may lead to such symptoms.
get tested for other rare possibilities too like raynaud's phenomenon, brachial plexus injury, cervical stenosis, vasculitis, compressive neuropathies etc. seek a neurologist and let them have a look. Vitamin B complex specially B 12 supplementation with good meats and proteins should be prefered.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
