I have been feeling like a can't exspan my throat for about a year and not being able to get my breath out, I only felt the lump 2 days ago, but it can't be seen with the naked eye, it's long running from top to bottom of throat, maybe longer but can't put my fingers that far down behind tongue, I have also been feeling a pulsing in the back of my neck, roughly where I can feel this in my mouth. I have had a fever of unknown origin for 3 years and servere high blood pressure being controlled by meds, I've had many investigations like bone marrow biopsys and lumbar punches, everything negative for three years until this feeling of not being able to take a full breath from throat area, I feel this lump I feel in my mouth is recent as I have been checking the back of my throat requently, I don't smoke or drink. Thanks
Brief Answer:
nothing to worry about...
Detailed Answer:
Hi...thanks for your follow up question...
You don't have any risk factors to say that the lump is a malignant one...the factors against malignancy are short duration, no smoking history,no lumps in neck...so this could be benign and not serious one...this is not an infection also as there are no signs of infection like fever ...so I don't want to advice any antibiotics...and your recent endoscopy shows no findings ...so i suggest you to take pain killers for relief and for harsh voice you can consult speech therapist...the lump might reduce with pain killer it self ..for this I recommend tab paracetamol which is both analgesic and anti inflammatory... You will be alright...if you have any further questions its my pleasure to answer or you can close the discussion and rate my answer...wish you a speedy recovery...
