Brief Answer:
Increase the dose

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to the HCM

I understand your concerns but don't worry. I would recommend you to increase the dose of duphalac to twice or thrice daily to relieve the constipation. Continue it till the constipation is relieved and then gradually reduce the frequency over 2-3 weeks.

Also, give her fibre rich diet and plenty of fluids. raisins, diluted fruit juices and prune juice are natural softners which will be helpful. Avoid cow milk for the time being.

Ensure regular toilet timings. Constipation is aggravated by holding stools. Avoid punishment and scolding as it negatively impacts the condition.

In case she complains about pain at analysis site then visit a pediatrician to rule out fissures and hemorrhoids.

Hopefully this will help you.
Take care
