Brief Answer:
Is she hypertensive or is this first noted?

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM..

From your history I gather she is not a known hypertensive and this looks like first time you are finding high BP. Generally 160/100 mmHg should not produce symptoms especially it has developed over time.

High BP is more likely to be related to anxiety of having reeling sensation and associated fear. Its ok to be have given her Amlodepine once but before you decide to continuously give her regular medicines you need to consult physician or cardiologist to confirm or rule out the diagnosis of hypertension, determine exact cause of reeling sensation and any specific treatment that may needed there of.

As reeling sensation can occur due to high blood pressure but can due ear and neurological causes as well.

Based on the history elicited by the physician and examination finding we should be able to short list the cause and based on this further workup would be advised which may include blood tests such as Hb , Creatinine, Electrolytes and uric acid. ECG Echo and neuro or ENT imaging as required.

Brief Answer:
Please have detailed assessment

Detailed Answer:
Hello, welcome back,

In that case it doesn't justify assuming that everything is related to blood pressure. Please have detailed evaluation by physician and than only consider anti hypertension medications .
